An Actress's Take on All-Things-Screen

Word of Mouth

I’ve been obsessed with TV series Roadies recently. You may have seen it advertised on the tube. And on my instagram (screenstersays). It’s just great getting into a new series. And with Luke Wilson. (So much better than Owen, sorry). That’s on Amazon Prime. Catch it if you can! Don’t worry about paying. Nab a free trial and test the waters…

My friend HT suggested I watch Fleabag on BBC Three. I haven’t got round to it yet but will watch it on my iPad tonight. Or on the go on my way to work tomorrow. Incidentally, the programme I filmed for BBC Three is coming out on September 8th – finally! Watch this space. Cor, I’ve waited long enough.

Everyone in the office is talking about Stranger Things on Netflix. And I still haven’t had the chance to get into it. The sun has been very distracting. What a comeback, Miss Ryder.

Other streaming highlights to look out for are:

The Girlfriend Experience (Amazon) – I know I’ve harped on about this one but I just think Riley Keough’s acting in this is superb. It’s not an easy role to play.

And thanks to The Guardian’s mention, why not try….

UnREAL (Amazon)

BrainDead (Amazon) – made by the creators of The Good Wife – don’t be too put off by the name!

Bloodline (Netflix)

Here’s a picture of me and The BFG himself, Mark Rylance, to keep you going. I did a workshop with him last year. What a lovely man. A true Whizzpopper.
