An Actress's Take on All-Things-Screen

HK TV ME

I’ve been away in Hong Kong this past week. I used to live there and going back was such a treat – I didn’t want to come back to London. Sadly, I don’t think there’s much of an acting market out there for me so I don’t really have a choice….

Lots to look forward to on the box this week though. As the Radio Times put it ‘The cream of British TV celebrates 400 years of Shakespeare this month’ and by gum have they packed it out. Starting on the 7th May, there’s BBC2’s Hollow Crown: The Wars of the Roses – the concluding part of the History Plays. With a star studded cast including Benedict Cumberbatch. I won’t list off the rest because I’m sure it will be ALL over your screens. (They do get a lot of coverage…..) You won’t be able to miss it!

Other programmes to watch out for include:

Undercover on BBC1 tonight and GAME OF THRONES TOMORROW!

I watched four films on the plane home last night. (Yes..that’s FOUR) Jurassic World (Chris Pratt, I love you and your wonderful sense of humour), 5 to 7 (a brilliant film with Anton Yelchin- Google him, you’ll know him), The Age of Adeline and for old time’s sake, Shakespeare in Love.

I also watched a documentary about the making of Jaws the film…..

Nice to see you again x
