An Actress's Take on All-Things-Screen

Bringing in the New Year

Happy New Year’s Eve, folks! I hope you will all be celebrating in style tonight. And if you’re curled up on the sofa, watching a film, then that’s just as good (if not better – NYE is so over rated!)

I was a bit disappointed with the line up on the box tonight so if all else fails, please tune into something on demand like the new The OA on Netflix.

If you do want to stay on live TV so that you don’t miss any BBC New Year announcements, here are my picks for this evening:

What Women Want – BBC2, 6pm

Peter Pan Goes Wrong – BBC1, 6.20pm

The Inbetweeners Movie – E4, 9pm (I used to work for them – behind the camera!)

And tomorrow?

Sherlock – BBC1, 8.30pm

Legally Blonde – Channel 5, 8pm

Skyfall – ITV2, 8pm

I’m clutching at straws here a bit, friends. I admit it. As i’ve mentioned in my Instagram posts, I am very disappointed with the choice of festive television offerings this season. It’s why on demand TV and films are so important – we can make our own choices – and boy/girl, is there a lot to choose from.

Look out for my next post about films in January. Have a wonderful evening.

GOODBYE 2016 – YOU ABSOLUTE BASTARD.

Happy New Year.
